Samsung Galaxy S3 - More Inspired By Nature Than Before

The Samsung Galaxy S3 is inspired by nature according to Samsung's statements. "It feels, hear, responds and enables you to express your supreme moments."

It may seem a little metaphoric when you read it for the first time, but the touch of nature is evident when you pick up this phone for the first time. What you're holding is brushed polycarbonate, adorning the body of the entire device, and packing in Samsung's flagship screen, the Super AMOLED 4.8 inch full HD screen. It may seem a little light to hold, but we all love a phone that can stay in our pockets without making us aware of its presence all the time, right?

It has got a really unyielding Gorilla Glass 2 front, a powerful and simultaneously beautiful interior and a tough battery cover. It is polycarbonate rather than cheap-feeling plastic, and the rounded nature of this design just adds a touch of flair and class to this handset, and to the one who carries it.

The colours that it was launched with were the Samsung trademark Galaxy S3 Marble White which is pretty much standard with their phones. Another lucrative offering is the Galaxy S3 Pebble Blue colour which is a little more vibrant in nature and over time many people were seen rocking it in this avatar.

However, Samsung seems hell-bent on making us see how truly inspired by nature they are and continue to make their users happy. They have launched 4 totally new, "nature inspired" colours which have never been seen before on any of their devices. According to Samsung, these colours take their inspiration from "the Earth's richest materials", which practically for you means that now you can choose from Galaxy S3 Amber Brown, S3 Garnet Red, S3 Sapphire Black and S3 Titanium Grey.

The flagship smartphone of the Korean giant remains unchanged, only new colors gild its beautifully contoured body. Samsung describes the new covers as featuring a "pure and clear material" called Hyperglaze on the back cover casing.

If for even a second you were questioning Samsung's intentions about these colours, you will be glad to know they didn’t just come from some paint mixing shop.

Amber Brown is apparently inspired by the "mysterious and unique gem" while Garnet Red is named in tribute to the "rare and special gemstone Almandite Garnet which was worn as an amulet by the ancient Egyptians who believed the stone contained protective powers". Like the thinking Samsung put into these two? Wait for the rest.

Galaxy S3 Sapphire Black is motivated by the stones used by the olden people of India and Persia for protection and safety, worn to ward off evil, with the belief they strengthened one’s willpower - not just for the reason that people like lacklustre coloured phones, say the phone manufacturer - and Titanium Grey allegedly means "intelligence, insight and curiosity".

Samsung went ahead and warned potential customers that all colours may not be available in all countries, but at least you won't have to choose from just Marble White and Pebble blue anymore.
