Samsung Galaxy Note - The First "Phablet"

It's too large to be just a phone. And not big enough to be given the title of a tablet. It carved its own identity in the market. The first "phablet": Samsung Galaxy Note. Its sheer size assured critics that this phone would have no place in the market. They were wrong.

This phone was sold all over the world, to all kinds of people, from geeks to studs, everyone! People took it to their heart with all the attraction of young love. From its fancy stylus (S-pen) to its mammoth size, everything was appreciated.

When launched, the Note came with Android 2.3 Gingerbread. These days, it runs on Ice Cream Sandwich. With a 5.3 inch screen and weight of 178g, it seems that Samsung has yet again shown off their trait of making their device lighter that it looks.

There is a 2MP front camera and light sensor located at the top, and an 8MP camera with LED flash located at the back. The grandeur of this "phablet" lies in its 5.3 inch Super AMOLED Plus screen which gives you 285ppi, which in essence rivals anything known as retina display.

Inside, there is a 1.4GHz processor making this gargantuan run, along with a 2500mAh battery. The choice of internal memory here is 16GB and 32GB.

Priced at £400, it may seem a bit of a penny-pincher, but Samsung will never let u rue the day you spent that amount of money on their device. The gigantic Note delivers in every aspect as is evident by the amount of people already using it around the globe.
